Tottenham fans hail club legends after 6-2 win over Milan Glorie in charity game

Tottenham fans went to social media to have fun in their wrestling series of current players, after their club legends AC Milan Glorie defeated 6-2 in a charity game on Sunday.

Some remarkable names in the game were Dimitar Berbatov, Robbie Keane and Teddy Sheringham for Spurs, while Dida, Andrea Pirlo and Cafu were part of the group that was suitable for the Rossoneri.

It was a goal in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, when Keane took a hat trick for the hosts, while Jermain Defoe, Sandro and Michael Brown were also on the act.

Cristian Zazzardo and Andrea Pirlo took the goals for Milan, the latter wriggled the years back by scoring a free kick.

The victory at home this season was quite the rarity for Spurs, especially in the Premier League, where the side of Ange Postecoglou has recorded only five victories compared to seven losses in their own backyard.

And Spurs -fans all said the same after Sunday's result; Many took the victory on their part as an opportunity to focus Jibes on the team of this season, while they are kidding that the club should sign their legends and sell their current players.

A fan wrote on X: “Sell our entire team and get our legends back.”

Another commentary: ' [we] Let this team play instead of the Ange team please? '

A third said, “Draw them all.”

A fourth early: “Can they play every week?”

Tottenham's sad fortunes This season they have landed in 14th place in the Premier League table, they see the EFL cup left in the semi-final and bow from the FA Cup in the fourth round.

On the other hand, they stay in the Europa League, while preparing for Frankfurt in the first stage of their quarter -final draw on 10 April.

The biggest struggles of Spurs this season have been defended, largely because of their injury crisis, who saw no fewer than 13 players at a certain moment in the year.

They have been strong in the future under Postcoglou and this season scored 55 goals in the competition – the second one of each team. And it was the same story for their legends on Sunday, that Milan Blitzde in the first 45 minutes.

A brace from Keane and a goal from Defoe saw that Spurs took a 3-0 lead within 18 minutes.

Shortly thereafter, the Brazilian midfielder Sandro brought the stand on 4-0 with a stunning strike past Dida, before Keane completed his hat trick for the break.

Brown scored the only goal of Spurs in the second half, while Zazzardo reacted to Milan before Pirlo further reduced the shortage by curling a free kick in the top corner.

All the profits of Sunday's charity match are served on the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, with a relationship in a community box for local charities.
