Dejan Kulusevski has undergone surgery on his right patella for the Europa League final of Tottenham Hotspur against Manchester United.
Spurs did not exclude him for the rest of the season and say that he will “start his rehabilitation with our medical staff immediately”.
Kulusevski sustained the injury last weekend during the 2-0 defeat of Spurs in the Premier League in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old returned from a foot injury last month and played in victories on Eintracht Frankfurt and Bodo/Glimt who sealed the club's place in the Europa League final that will take place in Bilbao next Wednesday.
