Ange Postecoglou says that Tottenham has “a real determination” on the way to their Europa League quarterfinals draw against Eintracht Frankfurt.
It will be a seasonal confrontation for Spurs, which are 14th in the Premier League table and eight points of the top 10.
Postecoglou then came under intense criticism, with reports that suggest that Andoni Iraola, Marco Silva and Oliver Glasner are being set up to replace it in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Spurs could still save something from their season by going all the way to Europa League Glory and landing their first silverware since the EFL Cup 2007-08, while he also secured continental football in the next term.
And despite the growing pressure on Postecoglou, the Australian insisted that his players deserved the honor for their gathering during a difficult period.

“The boys really want to bring success to the club,” he said. “Keep driving the principles from what we started this entire journey with, in terms of football that we want to play, really stay together as they have because of the most difficult periods.
“Hopefully we have worked our way in a position where we can have an impact on our season; a really disappointing season for us. I just think there is a real determination to seize the opportunity they have earned at the moment.
“There must be more for us and, for us, what is the most important thing as a group is that we have experienced a very difficult time, but we are still in a position where we can have an impact, and you don't know how often you get those opportunities.
“We are in a quarterfinals and I don't know how often the club has been in the European competition in a quarterfinals. You do not want you to let away or let the wrong mindset go in.
“I think the players are doing well in terms of how they try to embrace this challenge. They are confronted with a top team, but they have the opportunities to overcome that.”
