Tottenham have held further talks over a move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani.
The Frenchman joined PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023 for £79m after scoring 26 goals and providing 17 assists in 50 appearances.
But he has struggled to perform for the Ligue 1 champions. Last season he scored nine goals, while this season he has only added two goals to his total. Luis Enrique has limited him to two league starts in 2024/25.
Kolo Muani almost won France the 2022 World Cup final when he conceded a goal against Argentine stopper Emi Martinez in the 120th minute to score 3-3.
However, the Aston Villa custodian closed the gap and blocked his half-volley with a straight leg. It is regarded as one of the greatest saves of all time as Argentina won the penalty shoot-out and saw Lionel Messi lift the trophy.
Ange Postecoglou's side are facing competition from Juventus for the 26-year-old's signature.
Asked about Kolo Muani's future at PSG last month, manager Luis Enrique insisted: 'I could talk about it but I won't because my decisions say everything, even though, as I said, all my decisions can be changed .'
Kolo Muani has three and a half years left on his contract with Les Parisiens, with the deal reportedly worth over £200,000 per week.
He has had a fascinating career story, rising from the French third tier to PSG in three years.
He plied his trade on loan to Boulogne in the Championnat National in the 2019-2020 season and even played one match in the fourth level for parent club Nantes in 2020-2021.
However, he broke into the historic squad's first team and earned his move to Frankfurt after two solid seasons, scoring 23 goals in a productive 2022/23 campaign.
