Son Heung -Min spent 10 years in Tottenham Hotspur, but at 32
Tottenham Captain Son Heung -min could stop for Saudi -Arabia -but only after the lucrative tour from Spurs to South Korea. Zuid -Korea Forward Son, 32, has 12 months on his current deal and is considered a club legend after he helped Tottenham to win their first trophy in 17 years.
But there is a strong interest in the Saudi Pro League and other clubs in the middle for one of the biggest names of the Premier League. However, Son is a huge name in his home country, is one of the largest exports in the country ever and Tottenham will play in South Korea this summer.
That is why it would take a huge offer to convince Spurs to allow him to go before they play in Hong Kong on July 31, rather a match against Newcastle in Seoul in Seoul. Tottenham knows the value of the presence of Son in these games and it attracts incredible commercial value and interest.
Son lost its automatic starting place last season and his future is uncertain, even though the club chooses to extend his contract with another 12 months.
But the new boss Thomas Frank looks at new forward options after taking a step to sign Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo – which is also sought by Manchester United – and Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo. They also signed Mathys Tel about a permanent deal.
That has only increased the doubts about the future of Son and this summer it could see him continue – but only at the right time and the price.
Son came to Spurs from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 and scored 173 goals in 454 performances and is generally recognized as one of their best players of recent times.
