Tottenham has chosen to make Mathys Tel a permanent deal, while he completes his move from Bayern Munich with Thomas Frank now looking for Bryan Mbeumo
Tottenham has completed the signing of Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich on a permanent deal that used it on loan in January. The agreement gave the Premier League side the option to sign it this summer.
Thomas Frank has given up the movement and the French attacker has now signed a deal in North Londs for £ 30 million until 2031. He will be the first signing of Tottenham after he was bought by Ange Postecoglou to the club.
Tel debuted for the Tottenham as a replacement against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup and then marked his first start with a goal against Aston Villa in a FA Cup loss. He made 20 performances in the past term.
Frank was hired earlier this week after years of impressive work in Brentford, where he brought them from the championship to the Premier League. He has the task of improving the domestic status of the club and has entered into behind his former player Bryan Mbeumo.
The Frenchman has just enjoyed his best season so far for the goal and his signing would be an important explanation given the interest of Manchester United.
