Tottenham suffer ANOTHER injury scare as star man limps off in first game back

Dominic Solanke has given Tottenham fans an injury shock After images, the player who took a decreased after a disappointing night in the Netherlands showed.

The men of Ange Postecoglou suffered a nightmare competition against AZ Alkmaar and closed it with a 1-0 defeat after Lucas Bergvall's own goal in the 18th minute.

The Swedish midfielder tried to remove the ball from the spurs box, after a corner kick from Peer Koopmeiners, but instead saw his contact leading his opponents.

Tottenham was not able to keep control over the game, because they were clearly dominated by the Dutch team, which ended a total of 12 shots and five on goal.

However, the Night of Postecoglou only got worse when images from the competition showed that Solanke hit the tunnel of the stadium with the help of the team's staff.

It comes after the striker returned to the field for the first time since his knee injury was picked up in mid -January.

Solanke was forced to miss 45 days and 10 games, in which Tottenham managed to achieve five victories and five defeats.

His recent setback marks his third injury of the season, after ankle cases he experienced in August and September, as well as a disease he suffered before the match against Fulham in December.

The English striker scored 11 goals and added six assists in 29 games for Tottenham this campaign.

He came up as a replacement in the second half of the collision against AZ Alkmaar, but did not succeed in delivering a strong performance and was forced in the 92nd minute.

Due to the physical problems of Solanke, newcomer Matthys Tel appeared in the starting line-up, but was later replaced by Wilson Odobert.

The Side of Postecoglou suffered their eighth loss in 2025, in a disappointing season both in the domestic and at international level.

While they were beaten out of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup, Spurs are in 13th place in the Premier League table with only 33 points.

A potential blow due to Solanke's injuries would deepen the Tottenham crisis because they are currently missing Ben Davies, Radu Dragusin, Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison.
