Romero's previous Spurs Criticism
Romero has previously criticized the club for selling their best players and not investing the proceeds properly.
The Argentina International said that it was “always the same people responsible” for the failure of the Spurs team, with various important players such as his center-back partner of the Ven and Marquee Summer Signing Dominic Solanke who missed long-term periods on the sidelines this season.
Spurs is currently in 14th place in the Premier League after their struggles, where head coach Ange Postecoglou regularly refers to their injury -such as one of the main reasons why they dropped by the table.
Romero told the Spanish broadcaster Telemundo deporting: “Manchester City competes every year, you see how Liverpool strengthens his team, Chelsea strengthens their team, does not do well, reinforces it again, and now they see results.
“Those are the things to imitate. You have to realize that something goes wrong, hopefully they realize the (the board) it.
“The last few years it has always been the same – first the players, then the coaching staff will change, and they are always the same people who are responsible.
“Hopefully they realize who is the true responsible person and we will move forward because it is a wonderful club that, with the structure it has, could easily compete for the title every year.”
Romero plays among his fifth manager, including interim bosses, in four years at Tottenham and has seen Harry Kane, Steven Bergwijn, Davinson Sanchez and Emerson Royal Leave.
In the summer, however, the club had a net expenditure of more than £ 70 million after breaking their transfer record to sign Solanke for a first £ 55 million and also to bring in Leeds Youngster Archie Gray for £ 30 million.
