Tottenham’s Dragusin suffers ACL injury

Radu Dragusin has been set for a long period on the sidelines after Tottenham had confirmed that he has sustained a front cruciate ligament injury.

Dragusin sustained the injury during the Europa League collision of Spurs last week with Elfsborg.

The Romanian was one of the only fit, recognized defenders of Ange Postecoglou, after injuries to Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven.

However, Dragusin will now miss the rest of the season.

We can confirm that Radu Dragusin will undergo surgery for a front cruciate ligament (ACL) injury on his right knee.

Radu will be assessed by our medical team to determine when he can return to training.

Spurs signed defender Kevin Danso on loan from Ligue 1 Zijlens to strengthen their options at the back, while Van de Ven has now returned to action.

Tottenham travels to Anfield on Thursday in the semi-final of the EFL Cup and has a 1-0 aggregated benefit of the first stage.
