‘Touch of the old man’s magic’ – Arsenal legend’s son scores unbelievable volley

The son of an Arsenal -legend, proudly made his old man for a miracle to leave teammates unbelieving.

Sam Merson, 29, plays for Hastworth Villa in the 15th level of English football.

The bait is the child of former England and Arsenal star Paul.

He scored 157 goals during a shimmering career for club and country.

But none of them will have come close to the only son Sam scored last night.

Hanworth Villa van Merson JR took on Farnham Town when he produced a piece of real quality.

The attacker did an incredible pirouette while pulling a high ball with his left foot.

Merson wiped it once over his body before he dron out to give the goal on the edge of the Farnham box.

And in one flexible movement he then unleashed a rocket from a volley that shot over the keeper in the back of the net.

Merson's goal led to wild partying with both fans and teammates.

And nobody was more satisfied than Dad Paul, who said, “What a goal from last night, unreal.”

Fans also loved Merson's incredible effort.

One said, “Superb finish.”
