Toulouse FC has rejected an Aston Villa offer for Jaydee Canvot (19), according to a report from RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins.
Canvot broke last season at Formative Club Toulouse and was identified by Get Frans Voetbalnieuws as a prospect to watch in our pre-season Ligue 1 Guide. A versatile player with great expectations and strong on the ball, he has often played in the middle of the back, but he is also capable of midfield, as he showed in Le Téfécé's victory over OGC Nice on Saturday.
His versions last season pulled the eyes of many large clubs in Europe, including Aston Villa, which stood in line for a large part of the current transfer window for the Frenchman.
Hawkins, however, understands that Toulouse has rejected Aston Villa's offer for the player. The Premier League side is now ready with a new offer for Canvot, which is appreciated at € 20 million by Toulouse.
