Arsenal striker Leandro Trossard has split this week with his long-standing representative to sign at DH Sports and Entertainment Agency
Leandro Trossard's split from his agent Josy Comhair is not directly linked to his uncertain Arsenal Future. The Belgian winger has now signed with the DH-Sports and Entertainment Agency in German, which causes speculation, he is actively looking for a relocation of the Emirates.
Mirror Football, however, understands that Trossard has mutually agreed to part of the company with the old representative Comhair, who fights against health problems.
The divorce was completely friendly, although Comhair negotiations with Arsenal had led about a potential contract extension.
The current Trossard deal in North London runs until the summer of 2026, but it is understood that Arsenal has an extension option of one year that can formally activate the club.
The 30-year-old wants to stay in Arsenal, but so far his conversations about new terms got stuck and so far have not been brought to a positive conclusion.
Discussions are centered around a payment rise and were not sure an extension of the duration of Trossard's contract, but so far no agreement has been reached.
It is understood that suitable offers for Trossard may be considered this summer if they land on the table because there has been no breakthrough between the parties.
Arsenal are strong admirers of Rodrygo of Real Madrid and are aware that the Brazilian could still be available this summer for the right price, because he struggled for minutes in the Club World Cup under Xabi Alonso.
But to facilitate that deal – plus the potential catch of Crystal Palace's Ebereechi Eze and a center of the top class – there may still be a remarkable sale at the end of the window.
Financially, Arsenal stays in handy and is currently not running the risk of breaking PSR instructions, but they will have to ratify some rooms because of their future financial data if they continue to issue remarkable cash.
Sources have shown that there is still active Saudi Pro League interest in Trossard, who was the subject of a rejected verbal offer of Al-Eittihad last summer, and there have also been provisional questions from Europe in recent weeks, namely Italy and Turkey.
But at this stage Arsenal does not yet have to receive concrete proposals for the player and he is still part of Mikel Arteta's plans for the coming campaign.
Trossard set 10 goals and 10 assists in 56 performances in all competitions last season and his availability and versatility is considered a huge possession at the Emirates.
Comhair had represented Trossard since he broke into the senior setup at Genk, but the relationships between the couple remain full of respect, according to sources.
