The real reason behind the supposed icy interaction between the mother of Jude Bellingham Denise and his new girlfriend Ashlyn Castro has been unveiled.
Bellingham was seen on Saturday in watching Real Madrid's match against Girona next to the American model Castro and Denise.
The midfielder missed the match through the suspension after he was sent in the draw from his side with Osasuna when referee Jose Luis Munuera Montero fired the English international for cursing.
Bellingham's appearance besides Castro – with whom he was made public earlier this month after reports that he had left the famous dating app Raya – quickly generated interest on social media.
One moment during the game, however, seemed to cause controversy in which the mother of the football player and his new partner were involved.
While the TV cameras fell to the high-end area where Bellingham looked at the game, a screengrab seemed to show that Denise gave a side to Castro on social media.
A silk look is usually interpreted when expressing disapproval or contempt for someone and fans responded quickly at the moment.
Since then, however, it has been revealed that the Screengrab has taken their interaction out of the context.
In fact, a short video of the moment was then shared on social media where Denise and Castro seemed to shared a joke.
Denise's first shot that looked at her son's new partner was apparently an attempt to attract her attention before the couple were seen laughing.
Denise is a hugely important figure for the 21-year-old after she had moved to Madrid with him when he came to the club in the summer of 2023 to help treat his business and schedule.
They would share a flat in the lush La Finca district of the city, where luxury villas cost more than £ 20 million.
She moved to Germany earlier when Bellingham came to Borussia Dortmund from Birmingham in 2020, while her husband Mark was located at Jowe Bellingham, 19, who plays for Sunderland.
Bellingham was first seen in public next to Castro when Real flew home from Manchester Airport after the first stage of their Champions League collision against Manchester City.
During their appearance in the Bernabeu, Bellingham was seen in a completely black turtles while he was sitting in the stands to the left of Castro and Denise.
While the couple was shown on the big screen, Castro pulled a smile, while Bellingham remained with a straight face.
Castro had already met the parents of the midfielder and talked to his mother Denise and Dad Mark in the Family Box in the Bernabeu during Madrid's 5-1 victory over Red Bull Salzburg in the Champions League on January 22.
She has more than 265,000 followers on Instagram and was previously connected to Hollywood -actor Michael B Jordan and NBA star Lamelo Ball and Terance Mann, although there were rumors that the relationship with Bellingham started for the end of her previous romance.
Castro and Mann would have stopped dating last November, around the time she and Jude began to communicate, but sources close to the model denied this.
This was apparently confirmed by Castro's Ex, La Clippers Guard Mann, who ended the rumors on a Tiktok live stream.
“Ashlyn is cool, people,” Mann said to his viewers. “I don't know why everyone is on her head. She's cool. Me and Ash are cool. '
He added that he was sure that Castro was not unfaithful and that people should calm down that story. “
Castro, from LA, seems to lead a varied and artistic life based on her exploits on Instagram.
The model has shared photos of art galleries, skyscrapers bars, mountain landscapes and the gym, together with various selfies.
In the meantime, Bellingham saw his match achieve a comfortable 2-0 win on Saturday thanks to goals from Vinicius JNR and Luka Modric.
With the victory, Madrid again moved level at points with Arch Rivals Barcelona in Laliga, but they remain second on target difference.
