Juventus manager Igor Tudor played suggestions that his team shows signs of fatigue at the end of the season and it says that his players are motivated and are ready to compete while preparing for the Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca in the World Cup in Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday
Juventus opened their campaign with an emphatic 5-0 win over Al Ain van de Vae, and a victory against Wydad would secure their progression to the next phase. Such a result would set up a long -awaited group G -Showdown with Manchester City on Thursday, probably determining the group winners.
Tudor said on Saturday with reporters and said he sees no signs of lethargy in his team. “I don't see any signs of fatigue in the team; on the contrary, I see a lot of enthusiasm,” he said. “It is a pleasure to see that they like to play together. They started the last game as if it were a final. There is now more confidence in them, not only a bit but much more. They enjoy what we build together, and that is a fantastic thing.”
Tudor, who took over it in March after the resignation of Thiago Motta, supervised a remarkable turnaround in the Turin Club. Juventus fascinated outside the Serie A Top four and was eliminated from all the cup matches when Tudor arrived. According to his leadership, however, the team suffered only one further layer of league and finished fourth to guarantee the qualification of the Champions League.
Tudor reflected on his term of office so far and proudly expressed the professionalism and dedication of his players. “I have great professionals who have been available from the first day to the end,” he said. “There has been a lot of work behind the scenes, but we have also developed a better understanding of the game and what I ask of them as a coach.”
Despite the strong start in the club World Cup, Tudor urged his team to stay focused. “Juventus must be ambitious, but we have to stay humble and work hard with our heads down,” he said. “I always tell the players to concentrate on training and to take every game as it comes. Maybe I have worn them by saying it, but that is the mentality we need.”
Juventus' collision with Wydad Casablanca will be an important test of their progress under Tudor, where the Italian side is looking for the momentum for the knockout phases of the tournament.
