Chaotic scenes unfolded in Paris and two people died when Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain claimed the victory over Inter Milan in the Champions League final on Saturday evening.
Two people died tragically in France in the aftermath of the success of the Champions League of Paris Saint-Germain while parties fell in collisions with the police. A 17-year-old boy was put in the chest and a 20-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle with supporters, by reports in France.
A total of 426 people were arrested, including 417 in Paris, where 216 people in the police, 207 in Paris, were held from Sunday morning. Tensions arose after the game of Saturday evening with 13 police officers and 192 others injured.
Already in the break, with PSG UP 2-0 thanks to goals from Achraf Hakimi and Desire Done, Wet Enforcement used a water cannon in the Champs-Elysées. The police claimed that it was “to protect the place the l'étoile, because the barrier set up by a large crowd of people who did not watch the game, pushing to get in touch with the police”.
That area would have been emptied peacefully in the early hours of the morning, but other areas saw fights and stores looted. However, the night is not over without tearing gas that was used and holes.
Firefighters were forced to control 148 fires because 46 vehicles were set on fire. Rockets were thrown at the police.
