UEFA is said to be considering three important format changes that must be introduced for next season's Champions League.
The first season of the newly expanded competition is reaching his conclusion with Arsenal, PSG, Barcelona and Inter Milan all in the hunt to be crowned champions of Europe.
With the semi-final just a few days away, UEFA is already looking ahead to how they can improve the competition before 2025-26, and they can act on an issue that has been discussed by the Gunners.
According to Bilda, UEFA can change their rules so that teams that end up higher in the competition phase benefit from home for the return bone in the knockout phases.
The eight teams that automatically qualified for the knockout rounds that played in the second stage this season in the second stage, but this is currently not the case for the quarterfinals or semi-final.
As a result, Arsenal played the second stage of their quarterfinals against Real Madrid in the Bernabeu, despite the completion of eight positions above the Spanish giants in the competition table. The men of Mikel Arteta still managed to go 5-1 aggregated after winning both legs.
They will also have to travel to Paris for the second stage of their semi -final with PSG next month. Arsenal finished third in the competition phase, while PSG was 15th and had to get through the play-off round.
Playing the second stage at home is generally seen as an advantage, and Arsenal is supposed to be irritated that this has been taken from them after they excelled in the competition phase.
Another change that is being considered is removing extra time. UEFA is supposed to look at the sending of ties that immediately finish all square to penalties to illuminate the workload of players.
The final change that can be brought into concern teams from the same country that plays each other.
This season's Champions League, PSG Face Face Fellow Ligue saw 1 outfit Brest in the Play-Offs, while Bayern Munich Bayer Leverkusen played and was confronted with Atletico Madrid in the round of 16.
However, these tires are not considered attractive to fans and broadcasters, and UEFA can choose to reduce the protection rule, which means that teams from the same nation cannot play each other until the quarterfinals.
This rule was previously present before the competition changed to 36 sides and moved to a competition phase instead of a group phase format this season.
The Club Competitions Committee will meet to discuss the proposals in Munich on 30 May, only one day before the final of this season in the Allianz Arena.
