UEFA investigating Rudiger, Mbappe, Ceballos & Vinicius for conduct vs Atletico

Real Madrid stars Antonio Rudiger, Kylian Mbappe, Dani Ceballos and Vinicius Junior are examined by UEFA for their behavior after the Champions League win over Atletico Madrid.

The holders of the Champions League won a fiercely affected last-16 draw with their capital Rivals in controversial and in controversial way, with the punishment of Julian Alvarez excluded after officials ruled that he had touched the ball twice.

Rudiger hit the winning fine and that set a quarter -final draw against Arsenal.

The Real Madrid Quartet is now being investigated for accusations of indecent behavior during the parties after the game.

Television photos seemed to show that Rudiger made a throat cutting gesture to the crowd and Mbappe apparently grabbed his crotch.

UEFA has appointed a special inspector who will work independently, and most of the evidence is expected to be video images of the alleged incidents.

UEFA cannot provide information about how long the process will last and possible sanctions.

Why a fine can be more likely than a ban

It is thought that a fine is more likely than a ban. In 2019 UEFA Cristiano Ronaldo € 20,000 (£ 16,665) for incorrect behavior. Ronaldo had made an obscene gesture after scoring Juventus against Atletico Madrid.

Atletico -head coach Diego Simeone was also fined € 20,000 by UEFA for making the same gesture after his side scored home in the first stage.

There is no guarantee that the case will be dealt with for the first stage with Arsenal in the Emirates Stadium on 8 April. The teams meet again in Madrid eight days later.
