Merab Dvalishvili reveals injuries ahead of stunning win
After a big speech for Dana White, he tells Joe Rogan about the injuries he suffered before UFC 311. An infection in his leg and a lower back problem. Unbelievable that he could do that without being 100 percent.

Merab Dvalishvili vs. Umar Nurmagomedov – Round 5
We go to fifth and Merab Dvalishvili is certainly the first of the two men. Khabib Nurmagomedov is panicking in the corner, he knows that Umar Nurmagomedov will miss this opportunity.
Merab won't stop looking for that victory, but he will definitely win this fight. He has completed rounds three, four and five, after two early rounds. Curious to see how Chris Leben scores!
The champion taunts his rival after wildly missing, then Merab Dvalishvili breaks Georges St-Pierre's record for takedowns with two more! What a performance from the champion!

Merab Dvalishvili vs. Umar Nurmagomedov – Round 4
Neither man can get a clean takedown, but they continue to fire at the legs. Time to just play Usman v Covington 1 and get kickboxing, guys! Merab is certainly showing his experience and comfort there as we head into the championship rounds.
And with just over 30 seconds left, Merab Dvalishvili equals Georges St-Pierre's takedown record as he finally takes down Nurmagomedov. As far as I'm concerned he wins this fight, maybe four rounds with nothing, but definitely 3-1.

Merab Dvalishvili vs. Umar Nurmagomedov – Round 3
Merab Dvalishvili is doing well on his feet, but seems obsessed with knocking out Umar Nurmagomedov. It's a fascinating tactic. A small clash of heads causes Nurmagomedov to drop momentarily, and the champion eventually gets a takedown half a second in, pointing at his rival!
Merab has a word with the broadcast team at one point while against the cage. This is heading into the championship rounds!

Merab Dvalishvili vs. Umar Nurmagomedov – Round 2
These guys are swinging now, they're going to have a really hard time getting this fight to the ground at all!
Umar Nurmagomedov ultimately wins the race due to a takedown, but couldn't do much with it as he took the champion down in a tough spot. They're both going for it, very difficult rounds to score so far!

Merab Dvalishvili vs. Umar Nurmagomedov – Round 1
A cautious start from two men who seem to have a bitter feud, but Merab starts to engage as the round progresses. He's willing to throw a few more punches than Umar and he's having some success as we get to the halfway point.
However, Umar is no slow on his feet either, and he lands big on his own strength. He shoots for a takedown, but doesn't get it. In the closing seconds of the round he lands a big right hand flush.
