Jack Jenkins has been in and out of the hospital since his recent loss in the Qudos Bank Arena.
The 31-year-old candidate for featherweight came looking for his fourth victory in the Octagon on 8 February since he signed at the promotion in 2022.
After a stop win at Herbert Burns in his last outing, the Aussie came a strong start last weekend in Sydney in his provisional collision with Gabriel Santos in Brazil who promised to deliver an entertaining game.
The fight seemed to go his way after he had dropped Santos in the first round, but the tide started to turn after the openingstanza.
Santos began to make his way back in the fight and after having landed on the face after a devastating front kick, he managed to take the back of Jack Jenkins and submit it in the third round to the Prelim card on UFC 312 to close.

Jack Jenkins was admitted to Intensive Care after he was initially fired
After his post-fighting medicals, Jack Jenkins was fired, leaving 'Phar' to think about a bad night in the office, but there was still some adversity around the corner.
Australian MMA on Instagram reported that the Jenkins team was later informed that he would need further medical help after an important piece of information was missed from his scan.
Jenkins reportedly sustained an injury in the first round of the fight with broken cartilage in his thyroid cartilage that led to an air leak.
The 145 pound Jager had told his corner at the end of the first five minutes of the game that he could not feel his left arm, which had significantly influenced the rest of the fight.
After having spent some time under supervision in the Intensive Care department, MMA Fighting reported that Jenkins was released on Monday. The favorite of the home crowd still has to post any form of statement on social media after his second defeat in the Octagon.

Even with strength in just one of his arms, Jenkins did what he could hang after the success he realized in the first round.
Santos was able to overcome him over the play, but the most important thing is that the Aussie is apparently his medical worries, so that he can focus his attention on recovering before he returns.
