Who to watch – hunters who fly under the radar on UFC 313
Mairon Santos
Santos won the Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season 32 final with a mean knockout in the left hook in August 2024. On 13-1, 'The Legend' is a well-rounded feather weight with crushing finish. He is definitely someone to watch. He is fundamentally healthy, impressive for his weight class and has a great album.
Carlos Leal
Former LFA champion Leal fought and won in the PFL before he came to the UFC. He debuted against the Welterweight Perspective Rinat Fakhretdinov on UFC 308, where he gave his Russian opponent the toughest fight of his undefeated UFC career.
Leal lost the fight through controversial decision, to the great indignation of the UFC broadcasting team. 16/16 media members scored the battle for Leal and 87.5 percent of 582 fanscorecards had won the fight, according to MMA decisions.
If Leal can do another version as he did against Fakhetdinov, we should see the exciting rise of a new welterweight perspective.
