Michael Chandler and Patricio Pitbull are not on the same page when it comes to a possible rematch.
Chandler, a former triple lightweight champion in Bellator MMA, suffered his last title loss by rival Patricio Pitbull in 2019. Pitbull Tko'ed Chandler with punches 61 seconds in the opening round to become the first two -division champion at Bellator 221.
It was quite an achievement for the legendary pit bull. Not only did he win a second belt, Patricio also rubbed his brother Patricky who was chosen by Chandler years earlier.
This was also the last defeat of Chandler before he participated in 2020
Believe it or not, the series of the Pitbull Brothers with Michael Chandler dates completely from 2011. The American said that their rivalry was largely due to miscommunication on the English-Portuguese language barrier, a statement that Pitbull has since refuted.

Patricio Pitbull: Michael Chandler once said: “He would beat my whole family”
Two divisions apart, as they were once ten years ago, Chandler is not interested in repeating the heated rivalry to get one back on Patricio Pitbull.
As far as Pitbull is concerned, the former enemy of Chandler thinks differently about their history.
“He knows what he meant again [Bellator]'Pitbull told Shakiel Mahjouri of CBS Sports.
“There was no wrong translation. He said he would beat my whole family.
“My whole family is my whole family, not just my brother. He said what he said. The words that are spoken, they have never been taken back.”
While the former Bellator champions are not exactly buddy buddy in the UFC all those years later, Pitbull said that he would be warm with Chandler, claiming that he will shake his hand if they cross paths on UFC 314.
Patricio Pitbull wants Rematch with Michael Chandler
Chandler and Pitbull are a fight, apart from each other on the UFC 314 head card with Chandler Fighting Paddy Pimblett in the Co-Main event and the debut of Pitbull against Yair Rodriguez.
Their rivalry considered a thing of the past, Patricio Pitbull still expresses his wish to meet Chandler, this time, on the largest stage in the world in the UFC Octagon.
“If we get the chance to fight, I want to fight,” said Pitbull about a possible rematch with Chandler.
“In the cage, what I mean,” made Pitbull clear and did not want any quarrels between now and 12 April.
Michael Chandler will probably not be so happy to know that his old rival Paddy Pimblett gives tips about how to beat him …
