UFC 314 brings MMA back to Miami with some huge featherweight divisions on the map.
The most important event of UFC 314 sees Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes fighting to become the new UFC Vederweight champion. Ilia Topuria has left the title to go to lightweight, giving the men a huge opportunity to win gold in this featherweight match.
In the meantime, the Co-Main event sees Paddy Pimblett Teen to Teen with Michael Chandler. Pimblett predicted a victory over Chandler in the structure of the fight, but the American hunter will not be an easy victory for the Englishman.
Elsewhere Jean Silva wants to keep his knock -outstreak alive in a heated fight with the controversial Bryce Mitchell, and there is a light heavyweight collision between Nikita Krylov and Dominick Reyes on the main fighting map.
In anticipation of UFC Vegas 314, the Bloody Elbow experts have chosen their winners for the two main event files, as well as the performance of the night and their fight of the night.

Alexander Volkanovski vs Diego Lopes predictions
- Jordan Ellis – Alexander Volkanovski
- James Sweetnam – Diego Lopes
- Jamie Theodosi – Alexander Volkanovski
The bloody elbow experts are in two spirits that man will leave Miami as the new UFC Featherweight Championship. With Topuria who pursues a fight with Islam Makhachev, the title belt has been abandoned and put on the line in the main event of UFC 314.
Jordan and Jamie both agree that Volkanovski will take home. Volkanovski lost in recent attacks against Topuria and Makhachev, but has the experience as a former Feederweight champion to fight Lopes.
However, James cannot look beyond Lopes for this title fight. Lopes is incredibly confident for the Volkanovski fight, and the fact that he has won his last five UFC fights in a row brings him in a good position to win his first title in the promotion.

Paddy Pimblett vs Michael Chandler
- Jordan Ellis – Paddy Pimblett
- James Sweetnam – Michael Chandler
- Jamie Theodosi – Paddy Pimblett
The experts are split again, as Jordan and Jamie Pimblett choose as the winner of the Co-Main event fighting against Chandler.
Pimblett has been streak on a 6 combat extraction since debuting in the UFC in 2021. He is arranged in 12th place in the lightweight division and could jump the 8th place Chandler by beating him in this fight. Pimblett is already looking up a title fight in the future and probably seems to win his 7th fight in a row.
James, however, thinks that Chandler has enough to beat his English opponent, despite losing 4 of his last 5 fights in the UFC. “Iron Mike” is already planting his next fight, because Chandler Conor McGregor wants to call after the fight. This trust can translate into a victory for the American in this enormous collision at UFC 314.
Vecht from the night at UFC 314
- Jordan Ellis – Darren Elkins vs. Julian Erosa
- James Sweetnam – Yair Rodriguez vs. Patricio Pitbull
- Jamie Theodosi – Paddy Pimblett vs Michael Chandler
The fact that there are three separate choices for fighting the night shows how strong a map is for UFC 314. Jordan thinks the Undercard match between Darren Elkins and Julian Erosa will deliver the best action. Both men each come in a row, and with very similar records in their career, this fight can be to win.
In the meantime, James thinks that the long -awaited collision between Yair Rodriguez and Patricio Pitbull will be the most exciting fight on April 12. Rodriguez has been critical of Lopes in the run -up to UFC 314 and will want to prove itself before the main event. He is against UFC -Debutant Pitbull, who has already achieved 36 victories in his career and is looking for another against Rodriguez.
However, Jamie supports the Co-Main event to realize the hype and to be the fight of the night. Pimblett and Chandler have proven their courage in the Octagon and have the opportunity to put on a fantastic fight on UFC 314.
Performer of the Night on UFC 314
- Jordan Ellis – Yair Rodriguez
- James Sweetnam – Jean Silva
- Jamie Theodosi – Sean Woodson
According to Jordan, Rodriguez wins the performer of the Night Cash Prize on UFC 314. The Mexican hunter has let his last four fights end in submission or knockout and has a point to prove after defeats against Volkanovski and Brian Ortega.
James, however, sees Silva as the one to look at. Fans have predicted that Silva Mitchell will eliminate, so that his already impressive record in the UFC will be expanded and will come closer to a title shot in the future.
Finally, Jamie is excited to see what Sean Woodson can do on April 12. The American is confronted with Dan Ige and has only lost once in nine UFC fights. Their collision on the Prelims could be the one to pay attention, with Woodson someone who could do something special at UFC 314.
