After UFC 315 Last Saturday, commentator Jon Anik proposed a revolutionary change of rule after the main event between Belal Muhammad and Jack della Maddalena.
In the UFC 315 Main Event on Saturday, the short reign of Belal Muhammad of Welal Muhammad was brought to an end after a war in five round with Jack della Maddalena saw the Australian awarded as the new champion.
If things were not worse for Mohammed, UFC -Baas Dana White revealed the injuries he sustained during the fight, including a broken nose, a broken orbital bone and a split lip that probably requires surgery.
Muhammad was widely criticized for his lack of struggle and he was roasted by old UFC rival Khamzat Chimaev, who showed no grace to 'remember the name'.

Jon Anik calls for a huge change in line after UFC 315
Although Della Maddalena dominated for the large majority of the fight, the score cards were relatively close for five rounds, with two jury members scored only 48-47 in favor of the Australian, with the opposite judge scored 49-46.
Both Mike Bell and David Therien had the fight 2-2 in the final round, and luckily, despite the coaches of Della Maddalena, he told him confidently to won the fight, he came out and still tried to end the fight in round five.
For a long time UFC commentator, Jon Anik, has only responded to the score cards for a few days removed from the event, which suggests a revolutionary change of rule.
“I had the same 49-46 JDM scorecard as Eric Colon. Mike Bell and David Therien gave Muhammad around one, so this fight came to the fifth round. Fortunately Jack della Maddalena was not on a lead that many of us thought.

Despite his ties with Mohammed, Anik scored the fight comfortably in favor of Della Maddalena. If the fight had recorded open score, as Anik suggested, Muhammad might have come in the front foot in the front foot.
What is open scoring in MMA?
Although the UFC does not take open scores, there are different MMA promotions that in fact score openly use as part of their events.
Open scoring is a system where the scores of the jury members are announced for each round, so that the hunters and their corners know exactly how the fight is scored while it goes.
The point of open scoring is that it enables hunters and their teams to adjust their game plans in real time, because there is more transparency about how the fight goes.
