UFC 317 star instantly fired after coming in 10lbs overweight for International Fight Week clash

UFC 317 is a fight after one of his stars was fired the day before his promotion debut.

Everything was fine because Ilia Topuria and Charles Oliveira took their mark on the weighting on Friday.

The fight that was set to start the card, however, has been canceled after a last-minute drama.

As a result, a middleweight that had to make his debut is released by the UFC.

UFC 317 stars fired after weight Miss

UFC 317 was supposed to start with a fight between 7-0 Christopher Ewert and 6-0 Jackson McVey, which was booked until earlier this week to face Sedrieken Dumas.

A legal issue forced Dumas and Ewert took his place on the International Fight Week card.

Everything seemed normal when McVy weighed at 185 pounds, but Ewert never came on the scale.

According to Dan Hellie about the official weighing show, Ewert was overweight and therefore never weighed.

UFC commentator Jon Anik then announced that Ewert was cut from the UFC selection.
