UFC 317 title fight ‘leaked’ as top contender begins 12-week training camp

UFC 317 will headlinelinate the 13th annual International Fight Week of the Promotion on 28 June.

Merab Dvalishvili vs Sean O'Malley 2 was just announced as the main event for UFC 316 on 7 June.

No fights have been confirmed for the map that will take place three weeks later in Las Vegas.

However, fans think that a UFC 317 title match was accidentally leaked by Kai Kara-France.

Alexandre Pantoja vs Kai Kara-France set for UFC 317?

On UFC 305 last August, Kai Kara-France Steve Ereg spread to fight for a flying weight shot.

125LB King Alexandre Pantoja is currently looking for an opponent after beating Kai Asakura on UFC 310 in December.

A recent message about the Instagram of Kara-France suggests that he will get the next chance of Pantoja.

“Hill Sprints with UFC Flyweight Kai Kara-France,” Captions of images of him with the Aussie Fighter.

“12 weeks out of his upcoming fight because he is about to become UFC Flyweight Champ #dontblink”

In the video, Kara-France refers to his next fight as 'about 12 weeks away', who would stand in line with UFC 317 but he called no opponent or suggests that he will compete for a world title.

Fans respond to accidentally fight 'leak'

News about Kara-France's casual fight 'Lek' quickly spread over social media.

Fans were quick to give their opinion about the first fight with a concrete link to UFC 317.

“They have just announced a fight that was not announced in the caption,” a fan laughed. While another added: “Hopefully no main event.”

“Most undeserved title shot perhaps ever,” shouted a third X user.

“So it is the international Vechtweek Co-Main,” someone else said.

“I hope there will be 3 title fights,” remarked a Wishful fan.

“No facts only freewheeling,” wrote a skeptical sixth social media user.
