Fortunately, the lightweight duo and everyone who competes at the UFC 318 head card are still set.

Ikram Aliskerov falls from UFC 318

On Tuesday morning, Ikram Aliskerov shared images of one of his sparring sessions that were very wrong.

The Russian hunter, whose two MMA losses have come against Khamzat Chimaev and Robert Whittaker, would be confronted against Brunno Ferreira later this month.

Unfortunately, that fight is now eliminated after Aliskerov broke his big toe into training.

“I was in excellent condition, unfortunately problems happen,” he wrote next to an Instagram that showed how the injury took place.

“I have to withdraw from the fight on July 19 because of a broken [toe].

“Insha Allah I will come back very quickly. I will come back very quickly, Insha'allah.”

It is currently unclear whether Ferreira will remain on the map against another opponent.
