Vinicius Oliveira soon became one of the smartest prospects in the UFC Bantamweight Division.
Last Saturday the Premier promotion returned to Louisiana for UFC 318, headed by a BMF title fight between Max Holloway and Dustin Poirier in what 'The Diamond's' last fight was in the Octagon.
Because the event was completely built around Poirier, UFC boss Dana White stacked the rest of the menu with a number of exciting battles between some of the Fans's favorites.
And one of them was the rising Brazilian Bantamweight candidate, Vinicius Oliveira, who took Kyler Phillips in the prelim section of the event.

Vinicius Oliveira brings Rapliedjes free after UFC 318 victory
'Lok Dog' was in his fight against Phillips in Louisiana and was an impressive three fighting switch with his last victory against the aforementioned Nurmagomedov.
'The Matrix', on the other hand, had picked up a number of impressive victories over Pedro Munhoz and Raoni Barcelos, but when it was taken against Rob Font, it was just too much a step further.
And for their collision, Oliveira boldly claimed that with a victory over Phillips he would call former 135 pounds Sean O'Malley champion.
The 29-year-old expanded his profit freak and remains unbeaten in the UFC, making his name closer to the top 10 of the Bantamweight Division.
And only a few days away from his victory over Phillips at UFC 318, De Brazilian released a rap number with the name 'Fenomenal'.
'Lok Dog' has several rap numbers that have already been released on Spotify, who may be looking for his career outside of fighting.
What is the next step for Vinicius Oliveira in the UFC?
Oliveira will probably take the place of Phillips in rank 12 when the ranking on Tuesday updates, which brings it into a perfect position for a top eight opponent.
Although he hopes to fight O'Malley, it is extremely unlikely at the moment. Nevertheless, a fight against former title Challenger Marlon Vera can then be logical, where Vera wants to take action again.
