One of the largest UFC events of the year is now only a few days away, but there have been some changes in Fight Week.
On UFC 319 the Octagon returns to the United Center in Chicago, where a strong PPV card builds to one of the most expected battles of the year.
Dana White believes that the collision of Dricus du Plessis with Khamzat will be guaranteed to deliver Chimaev, with various other matchups that also have a good chance of stealing the show.
While a hunter Witte and the matchmakers called to make him a late addition to the map, it now seems that one match has only been lost for a few days from August 16.
Diego Ferreira claims that his fight with King Green no longer happens on UFC 319
The featured Prelim spot for UFC 319 was set to King Green who took Diego Ferreira in a battle for lightweight veterans.
This would have been Green's second outing of the year because he looked back to bounce back from what many believe is a knockout of the annual candidate.
The 27-Fight UFC veteran was stopped by Mauricio Ruffy on UFC 313 and was given the opportunity to return to the profit column by losing the back-to-back for Ferreira.
Unfortunately Cole Shelton van Bjpenn.com reported that Ferreira told the site that this matchup no longer takes place on UFC 319, although he is not sure why at the moment.
The Brazilian stated that his weight reduction would plan and he was clearly enthusiastic about the prospect of being confronted with greenery, although apparently it will no longer happen on August 16.
Ferreira was defeated earlier this year by Grant Dawson, getting his two-fighter victory and finished streak.
UFC 319 will still continue with the originally planned amount of fights
Although it looks like King Green's matchup with Diego Ferreira will be removed from the UFC 319 card, August 16 also recently receives a late addition, which means that the event will still have the originally planned amount of fights.
The teammate of Khamzat Chimaev, Baysangur Susurkaev, brought an impressive achievement earlier this week on the Contender Series of Dana White to earn a contract.
Immediately after his victory, the unbeaten Russian called for a late notification to compete in Chicago this weekend, and the matchmakers could give his wish.
Susurkaev will now make his UFC debut against CFFC Welterweight champion Eric Nolan only four days after he was a member of the selection.
