There is a clear winner in the main event of UFC Abu Dhabi as two top middle weights collide on July 26.
Reinier de Ridder is confronted with his biggest test in the UFC so far while fighting former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker, where both men are aware of a future title shot.
Elsewhere, the Co-Main event Petr Yan places against Marcus Mcghee in what could be an explosive fight in the Bantam weight division.
These are the two best fights on a map with some of the most exciting hunters in the UFC, because on August 16 we are only weeks of a huge map for UFC 319.
The bloody elbow personnel has made their predictions about what will happen at UFC Abu Dhabi, including the two most important event areas, as well as the fight of the night and execution of the night bonus winners

Robert Whittaker vs Reinier de Ridder prediction
- Jamie Theodosi: Robert Whittaker
- Harvey Leonard: Robert Whittaker
- Ross Markey: Robert Whittaker
- Kyle Diamond: Robert Whittaker
The most important event of UFC Abu Dhabi seems to be an even fight, although the experts have chosen unanimously Whittaker to go back to a title contract with a big win here.
Whittaker has admitted that he has only four fights left in his career to get another title shot, hopefully retired after a fifth and final fight like the world champion middleweight.
Although RDR is unbeaten in his first three UFC attacks, the experts think that he does not have enough to defeat the motivated Whittaker, which is one of the large middleweight hunters of his era.
The fight should be a close, but Whittaker must keep his title hopes alive with a win over RDR.
Petr Yan vs Marcus Mcghee prediction
- Jamie Theodosi: Petr Yan
- Harvey Leonard: Petr Yan
- Ross Markey: Petr Yan
- Kyle Diamond: Petr Yan
The Co-Main event of UFC Abu Dhabi puts Petr Yan against the man who has been unbeaten since his debut in the UFC, Marcus Mcghee.
“The Maniac” has so far had three impressive battles in his UFC career, with two knock -out victories followed by a unanimous decision victory in Jonathan Martinez on UFC 309 to earn a shot at a former champion in Yan.
Yan has previously kept the UFC -Bantamweight title and expect the bloody elbow experts to go one step in the direction of another title shot with a victory over his American opponent.
Yan is on a two-fighting switch, with victories over Song Yadong and Deiveson Figuiredo give him the confidence to set up Mcghee on July 26.
Vecht van de Nacht
- Jamie Theodosi: Nikita Krylov vs Bogdan Guskov
- Harvey Leonard: Petr Yan vs Marcus Mcghee
- Ross Markey: Nikita Krylov vs Bogdan Guskov
- Kyle Diamond: Petr Yan vs Marcus Mcghee
Both Harvey and Kyle support Petr Yan to get the fight of the night bonus after he predicted him to win the competition that they think will get the prize for the match-up at UFC Abu Dhabi.
Despite a series of decisions that have not always gone his way, Yan can fight for everyone and he will take on an entertaining game while he compiles Mcghee in the Co-Main event.
However, Jamie and Ross are pleased to see Nikita Krylov vs Bogdan Guskov. Krylov wants to bounce back from a brutal Ko against Dominick Reyes in April, and we still have to know how he will respond to such a devastating defeat.
He is confronted with a deadly Finisher in Guskov, whose last three fights are in three very different finishes, all to give him the victory. He has all the tools to store Krylov in every way he deems needed, which could lead to one of the best fights on July 26.
Execution of the night
- Jamie Theodosi: Petr Yan
- Harvey Leonard: Sharabutdin Magomedov
- Ross Markey: Marcus Buchecha
- Kyle Diamond: Marcus Buchecha
There is a more eclectic mix of choices of the bloody elbow experts while making their choices for the performance of the night at UFC Abu Dhabi.
Jamie supports Yan again, who seems to be the big star that comes from the event when these predictions are something to visit.
Harvey, however, supports Sharabutdin Magomedov to shine in his main card bolt against Marc-Andre Barriault. The Russian may come from a loss in his last fight, but his two spectacular knockout wins in earlier fights can be what he bases that forecast.
Finally, Kyle and Ross support both Marcus Buchecha in his provisional fight against Martin Buday to stamp his authority on the promotion on his UFC debut.
The Brazilian comes in the fight with a 5-1 record in one and a long and legendary career in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, making him a good competition to impress his debut.
