Fans have said that they should not keep hope to see Zabit Magomedsharipov in the UFC Octagon.
When it comes to the biggest 'what as' hunter in the UFC history, not much can hold a candle to the claim of Magomedsharipov on that status. The Russian was widely tipped for quantity at 145 pounds, especially after the most important event of Magomedsharipov in 2019 in 2019 left him 18-1 as a professional and undefeated in the UFC.
But since then he has not participated anymore and a mysterious dismissal was followed by confirmation of the shock retirement of the 34-year-old in 2022.
In the following years, frequent speculation of a return was created. But while that conversation was picked up at the beginning of 2025, the same person who teased a comeback for Magomedsharipov now disposed of it – and the UFC has given some debt in the process.

Ali Abdelaziz shares the debt with UFC for the shock period of Zabit Magomedsharipov
During a recent performance on the Podcast of Pound 4 Pound, organized by two of his hunters in Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo, Ali Abdelaziz spoke about the biggest 'What If' Returning of the UFC ever.
Although Abdelaziz rumors cause a Magomedsharipov UFC comeback, he has now stated firmly that there is no chance that it will come true

And in terms of why the highly regarded Dagestani called it in his Prime, Abdelaziz believes that he blames the UFC.

But while his teammate Muskhab Kudiev predicted a comeback in the caption of the video, the newest comments from Abdelaziz seem to have explicitly closed that possibility.
