Dylan Budka announces UFC release
On Tuesday, Dylan 'The Mindless Hulk' Budka announced that he was cut by the UFC after his quick loss for Shahbazyan.
“From today I am no longer in the UFC,” Budka wrote on his official Facebook page.
“I dared to be great, and I failed. That is what is accompanied by taking the opportunity. Everyone is preparing to reach the top, but they do not prepare what to do if the top is taken from them.
“But I know, I am grateful for my friends, family and supporters. I am grateful for my sponsors, my fans and partnerships. And I will continue to promote all the great companies around me to the fullest that I can.
“We are already in conversation with other promotions and I will make the switch to good weight to start the next chapter of my career.
“This is not over and my story is not ready. I am back where I intend, I just have to repair some things first. Just a small bump on the road that I didn't see on my way to what I wanted.
“I love you all, and I can't wait to repair the mistakes and find out where my new house is that I will entertain you all on your screens at home until we come back to the UFC.

Dylan Budka's Nightmare UFC Run
The UFC release of Budka was not just about one bad version – he had three chances in the Octagon.
The 25-year-old was arrested by the great UFC boss after he had an impression on him during a decision victory on the Contender Series in 2023.
Cesar Almeida ensured that his UFC trip started a terrible start by turning it out within two rounds.
Next time Budka went the distance of 15 minutes with Andre Petroski but he was easily defeated again.
Shahbazyan exacerbated his nightmare -like run in the big league at UFC Vegas 102 last weekend.
Budka now has a record of 7-5 and has work to do if he wants to go back to the UFC.
Yet he is young enough to make the improvements that are needed to become an MMA administration.
Only time will learn if he will ever get a crack on the UFC, but it seems clear that he wants that.
