UFC Des Moines star breaks down in tears as she dedicates win to late grandmother

Juliana Miller devoted her emotional victory at UFC des Moines to the memory of her deceased grandmother on Saturday evening.

The flight weighter had struggled so far in her Octagon Run and was unable to register victory for the best part of three years before he abandoned the prelims at UFC des Moines. She had been out of operation for almost two years before she returned on Saturday.

Her victory meant a return to form, but apparently meant much more when she celebrated with a sincere message while chatting with Michael Bisping.

Juliana Miller finished a scorching few years with a huge decision victory on Ivana Petrovic to start the prelims of UFC des Moines. She struggled through the first and lost all three score cards for the Openingstanza.

However, once she had found her rhythm in round two, it seemed to be a case of when she would not be a victory of the entry. Petrovic, however, managed to survive in the third, where they both had to bind towards the end of the night.

After the fight, Juliana Miller was interviewed by Michael Bisping. The former middleweight World Champion initially asked about the implementation, but she soon became emotional and tears when she noticed that she wanted to devote the victory to her grandmother.

“I promised my mother in heaven that I would win this fight for her,” she told Bisping through tears. “I won this for you … Alexander Volkanovski said that it would not feel the best without a setback.

“I believed that tonight I would win the victory for you. This victory meant the world to me, Killer is back dear, let's go!”
