Nate Diaz offered a chance 12 years after his first knockout loss.
The UFC legend is today one of the most popular free agents in combat sports. Diaz broke free from his UFC contract in 2022 and has since fought as Jake Paul and BMF champion Jorge Masvidal in the boxing ring.
Diaz has been inactive for almost a year now. The 38-year-old, who recently showed an interest in a UFC Comeback, reportedly refused boxing competitions with KSI and colleague UFC-title finer Darren until this year.
Apparently those are not the only fights that left.

Josh Thomson offers Nate Diaz Boxing Rematch
In 2013, former StrikeForce Lichtweight Champion Josh Thomson Diaz ended with a main kick and bumps at UFC on Fox 7.
It was Thomson's UFC debut and Diaz's first and really only Ko loss of his career, taking into account the TKO loss of Diaz for Jorge Masvidal at UFC 244 was a doctor's stop because of a cut.
On 46, the retired Thomson said that he was in conversation months ago for a boxing brake match with Diaz. However, it never flourished.
Thomson claims that he would retire for a rematch with Diaz in the ring.
“I heard you reject the @Ksi fight,” said Thomson in a message to Diaz.
“I heard that the UFC does not want you back after your @jakepaul fight and that @thenotoriousmma looks like a hard no.
“No bulls -let's do it in boxing or @bareknuclefc where there are no stairs to make it fairer. @Nattediaz209.”
Since a TKO loss of 2017, Thomson has not participated in former Bellator champion Patricky Pitbull. Thomson withdrew with an MMA record of 24-9, without professional boxing attacks under his belt.
Josh Thomson excluded a BKFC relocation a few weeks ago
If it is not boxing, Thomson presented the BKFC as a potential road for the Diaz -Rematch.
However, the 46-year-old did not always love to fight for BKFC.
Last month Thomson was asked if he would ever take a bareknuckle bug fight.
“No,” Thomson replied about weighing in Podcast.
“I had that in my mind. In the beginning I wanted to do a lot,” said Thomson about fighting in the BKFC.
“That was the only thing when it started for the first time, I came around, I had something like that, yo, this is certainly fascinating me …
“But now I recently viewed the fight and it destroys people's faces. The man was cut, as probably at least seven or eight different places. He looked [one of the] 'Garbage Emmer children'.
“They always have stitches and scars and such. I had something like that, yes, that's how you look,” Thomson added.
