From Max Holloway's last-second win over Justin Gaethje to Alex Pereira's three title KOs in just six months; 2024 was another excellent year for big fight fans.
Luckily, there's no need to go back through the archives, as the UFC has just given fans a belated Christmas gift: a fantastic 70-minute compilation of the best knockouts from the past twelve months.

UFC drops 70-minute montage of the best knockouts of 2024
There are still two weeks to go before the first UFC event of 2025, which means there's plenty of time to sit back and enjoy a (not so quick) recap of the best knockouts from the past year.
In 2024, the UFC staged a whopping 517 fights across 42 unique events (PPV and Fight Nights), with MMAJunkie citing a whopping 101 hours and 32 minutes of total fight time.
Of those 517 total fights, 147 resulted in a KO/TKO – that figure could have been higher had the promotion not introduced a new design for their fighting gloves, which inadvertently resulted in a drop in finishes mid-year.
The most knockouts in a single event came at UFC on ESPN 54: Blanchfield vs Fiorot in March, with eight KO/TKOs – five of which reached the prelims, and three more on the main card.
There were 174 post-fight bonuses handed out: Fighters earned approximately $9.95 million from the Fight of the Night or Performance of the Night bonuses – including four $300,000 checks at UFC 300.
It was also a surprisingly good year for the underdogs, who scored 146 wins and 367 losses against the betting favorites; the most underdog wins came at UFC 267: Strickland vs Du Plessis with seven upsets.
Now that the scene is set; we can finally get to the compilation itself – 70 minutes of pure, unadulterated MMA violence… Sit back, grab a celebratory drink and enjoy.
Top comments prove that it has been another fantastic year to be a UFC fan
The compilation, which lasts more than an hour, has been available on YouTube for less than 24 hours, but the video has already been viewed more than half a million times worldwide.
From even the briefest scroll through the comments section, it's clear that fans love the extensive KO collection; with some of the best reading as follows.
“Topuria is so aggressive and calculated at the same time.”
“That walk-off knee to the body by Prates is my favorite from 2024.”
“Talks that appear four times give me chills.”
“Watching Volk, Max, Stipe and Jiri go down this year took 18 months off my life expectancy.”
“Ufc has really stepped up the YouTube game recently. I appreciate it, keep spreading the content, old and new. I'm here for it.”
“That new UFC employee who took over their YouTube is more of a goat than Jon Jones, GSP and Mighty Mouse could ever be.”

2024 was great, and 2025 should be even better – UFC Fight Night: Dern vs Ribas 2 kicks off a new year of UFC action on January 11, 2025… See you soon.
