Belal Muhammad is generally considered the best wrestler in the Welterweight Division – but claims that he is also the best striker in the weight class, is downright delusions.
After Shavkat Rakhmonov revealed that he had been sidelined with an injury, the UFC was forced to switch into a main event, with Jack della Maddalena in Australia now on 10 May 'remember the name' on 10 May.
Tonight, the two athletes first came face to face at the UFC 315 press conference on sale, with the most memorable moment a rather bizarre claim from the reigning welterweight champion.

Belal Muhammad calls itself 'the best striker' in the Welterweight Division
The UFC 315: Muhammad vs della Maddalena on-sale pre-Fight Press Conference has just been packed and frankly, it was a rather boring and gloomy event to listen through.
Ears came up when champion Welterweight Belal Muhammad de Wilde claim made him not only the best grappler on 170 pounds, but also the most important striker of the division.
'Shall I be able to be [keep it] To stand? No, [it’s] He will be able to keep track of my boxing, “Muhammad stated before he pronounced himself as the best striker in the weight class.
“I am the best striker in the Welterweight Division. I'm the best grappler. I am the best wrestler. I am the best hunter – you have seen this [before].
“Leon Edwards was” the next one, he was the goat, he took Kamaru Usman, “and I made it look easy – I'm going to make it look easy on 10 May.”

Della Maddalena may ride on a 17-Fight-winning series with five Finishes in his last seven fights, but according to Mohammed he is still just a small fish in a large pond.
“He comes from the children's pool and he immediately goes out the deep of the ocean, this will be a bad night for him, and you will see it on 10 May.”

Given that he has only had one KO/TKO victory since 2016, and that there is a whole series of strikers of world class that are still fighting with 170 pounds, it is no surprise that fans have been in hysteria about Muhammad's claim.
