UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell goes on unhinged rant at Elon Musk, four days before MMA return… ‘He knows the Earth is flat!’

Love him or loathe him, 16-2 featherweight contender Bryce Mitchell remains perhaps the most entertaining fighter on the entire UFC roster.

With his return to the UFC imminent, it's time for another unhinged rant for the ages – this time 'Thug Nasty' took aim at the richest man in the world, Elon Musk.

Bryce Mitchell rails against Elon Musk on the BYM Podcast

Bryce Mitchell has built a reputation for his hilarious – if not slightly unhinged – behavior, from claiming he could rear-choke a gorilla to carrying a Bible around the UFC octagon.

Speaking to Michael Bisping and Paul Felder via the 'Believe You Me' podcast earlier today, Mitchell launched into several insane (and we mean insane) takes — including that NASA's end goal is to “mimicate an alien invasion ”, and that Mars, like every other other planet in the universe, 'does not exist'.

While the hilarious interview is definitely worth listening to in its entirety, it was his tirade against Elon Musk and specifically the company Neuralink that went viral, with the very religious Mitchell claiming: “That chip is the mark of the beast.

“I'm telling you, that's the kind of technology that the Antichrist is going to put into people – if you start getting these chips in their heads, they're going to watch everything you buy, everything you sell… Actually, it's going to be a communism like the world has never seen.”

“When you see a guy like Elon Musk putting chips in people's brains and acting like he's a doctor – his cars suck, he's never been to space, he knows the earth is flat and he is a lying rat. ”

It's safe to say that the UFC fighter is not a fan of the tech giant, later claiming that “He's creating these robots that will try to take over humanity… Have you ever seen that movie 'I-Robot' with Will Smith ? That guy is now making robots!”

Mitchell then took aim at the electric car industry, claiming that Musk's Tesla vehicles will one day be held at the whims of the South African businessman.

“The reason he makes electric cars is because he can turn off your damn car if you make a mean tweet… They're going to get to the point where everything is so controlled that Elon Musk can push a button and you're locked up. or you just can't start your car.

“You can't do that to a '97 Ford pickup, buddy… My '73 will run one of those damn Teslas off the road and crush it like a can of Coke – I'm just telling you. ”

Mitchell may be a little out of his depth when it comes to talking about space travel, electric cars and microchip technology, but if there's one thing 'Thug Nasty' is good at, it's fighting.

11 months after being brutally knocked out by Josh Emmett at UFC 296, 'Thug Nasty' returns to action this weekend as he takes on Kron Gracie on the UFC 310 undercard.

While the win in Las Vegas probably wouldn't move Mitchell up the featherweight rankings, it would at least get him back into the win column – and that's more than enough for his fan base.
