Michael Bisping believes that there is a clear route map for the return of Alexander Volkanovski.
Former UFC Vederweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski will try to reclaim the featherweight throne when he returns to Diego Lopes in April at UFC 314. After his former rival Ilia Topuria had left the belt, Volkanovski and Lopes will stagger in a new era in the division.
But for Volkanovski, a victory over UFC 314 would be a return to the dominance that made him one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world. Before he lost to Topuria on UFC 298, Volkanovski defended the featherweight title four times and confirmed himself as a big one.
The upcoming vacant title match of Volkanovski comes for the first time in his career after the suffering of successive losses. After a 14 -month break from the cage, Volkanovski has a clear path for him, according to UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping.

Michael Bisping Details Ideal Roadmap for the return of Alexander Volkanovski
In a recent upload to his YouTube channel, Bisping responded to the return of Volkanovski's 145LB.
“He wants to hire the best people, and I respect him for that, and he wanted rematch with Ilia Topuria. He hit him, he beat him out, and as a hunter influences you pride and your ego and you just want to get it back, “said Bisping about Volkanovski.
“However, that ship sailed. Now there is a really good chance that Volkanovski will be the champion again, and who knows, maybe it will defend again, twice, earns a few million dollars. This, if you ask me, is the perfect scenario for Alexander Volkanovski. (H/t Sportskeeda)
The Volkanovski team is already in the work of game planning for Lopes for UFC 314. Brian Ortega, one of the former opponents of Volkanovski, is seen as a similar athlete by his inner circle.
It was originally expected that Topuria and Volkanovski would turn it back later this year for the abrupt title holiday of Topuria. A rematch was immediately presented after the knockout victory of Topuria over Max Holloway at UFC 308.
Dana White: The lightweight movement of Ilia Topuria does not guarantee an immediate title shot
Despite the addition of Topuria to the UFC Lightweight Division, Dana White hinted that there are several options for the next fight from Topuria, some of which do not contain a title. Topuria has not participated in lightweight since a coming victory over Jai Herbert in March 2022.
Topurias desired collision with UFC Lightweight Champion Islam Makhachev is still on the table for later this year. Makhachev recently defended the belt against Renato Moicano on UFC 311, in a short-notice shift after the withdrawal of Arman Tsarukyan.
While Volkanovski is again preparing for the UFC belt of featherweight, a potential rematch with Topuria is out of the picture. But depending on the UFC 314 result, Volkanovski could possibly follow his old enemy to the lightweight division at a later date.
