There was a truly insane knockout at UFC Fight Night: Yan and Figueiredo's preliminaries this morning; with women's strawweight Ming Shi landing a flush head kick that left her opponent requiring a stretcher.
Those were some disturbing scenes at UFC Macau, with hopeful Xiaocan Feng being taken out of the octagon on a stretcher before being sent straight to the local hospital.

Ming Shi scores a viral head kickout to win 'Road to UFC' Season 3
UFC Macau featured three tournament finals for the 'Road to UFC Season 3' series, the first of which ended in a devastating knockout – scored by Chinese strawweight prospect Ming 'Doctor' Shi.
The 30-year-old Shi, who still practices medicine and somehow manages to keep her MMA career a secret from her parents, scored one of the best head-kick knockouts of the entire year when the fight was the entered the third round.
“Slept her,” shouted Michael Bisping from the commentary desk, while Laura Sanko provided the soundbite: “What a baby-faced killer – oh my god, call a doctor!”
Victory means Shi is now officially a member of the UFC roster and a future prospect to watch, although she was understandably extremely emotional as she watched her opponent being carried out of the octagon.
“I feel very happy, but I'm actually worried about my opponent,” she told Bisping as tears began to well up.
“I really hope she's okay, she's young and – sorry… That's what happened in the semi-finals. I've had a lot of chances to take down my opponent, but I think I have too much grace – I'm not aggressive enough.”
Champion Zhang Weili watched from the cage and it's safe to say that 'Magnum', like the rest of us watching, was impressed by The Doctor's KO.
I really hope Feng is doing well.
Scary scene after that KO.

The irony, of course, is that Ming Shi is a doctor and just sent someone on a stretcher. I hope Xiaocan Feng is doing well.
