UFC Insider claims Sean Strickland Drama caused by payment conflict
Former UFC hunter Justin Jaynes has long been a student and friend of Eric Nicksick at Xtreme Couture and has therefore been a teammate of Strickland for a number of years.
Jaynes spoke earlier this week via the tense YouTube channel of the tense.
“In that fight they had talked about the payment and how much Eric thought he deserved to be paid and how much Sean wanted to pay – and I think that was a payment conflict somewhere.”
According to Jaynes, Nicksick Strickland sent an SMS message with a five paragraph about the payment he would still receive for training and travel to Australia for UFC 312-Alleen to become 'Ghosted' by the former middleweight champion.
“Sean haunted him, that would clearly be very disturbing. When I call someone to talk about what I think I earn and what I am paid, and they don't answer. That would be f- p- me. “
Jaynes noted that part of the drama also comes down on Strickland that was not invested in the title fight as Nicksick would have held otherwise; Before he doubles his claim that there is a financial dispute when playing behind the scenes.
“He [Nicksick] Did not get paid what he thought he deserved, and I fully understand that. I can understand why he would come out and say the things he did out of frustration … It was a financial dispute, and you know, Eric was upset that he took time away from people who earn his time – usually his family.
“The reason Eric said that the thing he said about a financial dispute was, he didn't feel that he was compensated accordingly, and he doesn't want to work with someone who doesn't want to give it everything … This is not speculation, This is fact. “
Jaynes' report on the drama is a beneficial listening, with the former hunter who wanted to drive home, the fact that “Eric gave me permission to announce these details.”
Eric Nicksick admits that he 'made a mistake' in the interview with Ariel Helwani
In the days since Jaynes has submitted his payment dispil claim, Nicksick himself has recovered his comments about the future of Strickland and his performance in Australia.
During an appearance on his fresh US podcast, the experienced coach would admit that he “made a mistake” by going so quickly after UFC 312 while he still suffers from Jetlag.
“I don't even consider it a fall -out; I think it was just something I needed. I made a calculated wrong … but it was something I felt that I really needed because it showed me a lot about people. It made me learn what to do to do better.
“I made a mistake by accepting the invitation to continue on the timing of where I was, I think people should understand it, you come to travel 25 hours, 19 -hour time difference, I am in the gym on Tuesday, Half awake. I just had to say, “Hey man, not a good time.”
“That is where I f -” recognized Nicksick, who again confirmed that “I should never have done it.”
