UFC Vliegweig Jimmy Flick once left the Octagon on the highest possible note.
Former LFA champion Jimmy Flick returns this weekend in UFC Kansas City, in the headline due to an intriguing welterweight battle between Ian Machado Garry and Brazilian phenomenon Carlos Prates.
Flick will meet 'the Ultimate Fighter 24' Alumni Matt Schnell in what his sixth performance will be under the UFC banner.
Flick signed at the Premier Promotion in 2020 and won his contract on the Contender Series of Dana White in MMA Fight #20. Flick Durden his debut later that year against Cody, thinking after he would never fight there again.

Jimmy Flick won UFC debut by Flying Triangle
The Crowdless UFC Apex was where Jimmy Flick would capture the largest highlight of his career.
Less than three minutes in his fight at UFC Vegas 17, Flick would close the distance and landed a head kick that he then used to get leverage with his right hand that grabbed Durden's shoulder. Flick jumped into the air in the air and tried a flying triangular entrance while durden overtold him on the floor.
Flick adjusted the triangle once he was on the floor with durden who had trouble finding a way out.
20 seconds in the choke, durden was eventually forced to tap.
Flick has caught a $ 50k performance bonus for his Flying Triangle congregation, which was surprisingly not included in the Top 10 congestions of the UFC of 2019.
Jimmy Flick retired at 1-0 before he returned years later
In April 2021, a few months away from his incredible debut gain against Durden, Jimmy Flick announced his MMA pension at the age of 30.
For Flick there were a few reasons why he left the sport when he did. He no longer wanted to fight for his father's love and as a father himself wanted to be there for his children.
“Short story, I have been a family man all my life, I have worked a full -time job and this career pursuit,” Flick told UFC.com.
“I had a woman of 11 years and we split out and that was one of the reasons why I had given up.
“I wanted to be more for my hair and more for my children because I was gone our entire relationship.”
Like most MMA retirement, Flick's did not hold when the flying weight returned to the UFC in January 2023.
Currently 2-3 in the UFC and after having lost his last fight, Jimmy Flick could fight on Saturday for his job at UFC Kansas City when he meets Matt 'Danger' Schnell.
For Schnell this is his actual UFC pension fight after depositing the gloves last year after a loss for the ordinary opponent Cody Durden.
