Ian Machado Garry will head UFC Kansas City with his long -awaited fight against Carlos Prates.
Less than a month after the fight of Ian Machado Garry with Carlos Prates on UFC 314, the couple will decrease the head in the Octagon in the main event at UFC in Kansas City.
Although Chael Sonnen calls the fight a step before Garry, the Welterweight hopes for a future title shot if he can get through Prates in Kansas City. However, Prates is on a knockout streak with 10 fights and can pose a great danger to Garry. It is a person's fight to win and will be an exciting main event for the UFC in Kansas City.
Elsewhere on the map, UFC veteran Anthony Smith gets his last UFC fight ever in the Co-Main event. Smith will end his career after his 60th fight, and has called the Chinese hunter Zhang Mingyang as his last opponent.

What time does UFC Kansas City start?
UFC Kansas City takes place on April 26, 2025 in the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
The event starts with preliminary rounds at 6:00 pm (et), 3:00 PM (pt) and 11 p.m. (BST).
Following from this, the main map arrives at 9 p.m. (ET), 6:00 PM (PT) and 2:00 AM (BST).
How to look and live UFC Kansas City?
In the US, both the Prelims and the main map of the event will be available to view on ESPN2 from 6:00 pm. Fans can also stream the event on their mobile devices via ESPN+.
In the United Kingdom, fans can view the prelims through the UFC Fight Pass at 23:00 before they switch to TNT Sports for the coverage of the main map from 2:00 am.

Carlos Prates also called Ian Machado Garry 'boring' to head a UFC event without it
Talking the waste has been going on for weeks and Prates has an important criticism for his opponent for their fight.
The Brazilian told Mmahoje that Garry was too “boring” in his fighting style to have a UFC PPV without a knockout outpartist like him to add interest.
Prates said: “I went to the company for 1 year. 2 main events and 4 knockout bonuses.
“I'm definitely going to exclude him and exclude him.
I will leave him unconscious and then fight for the belt. '

The complaints of Prates are not without merit. Only 3 of Garry's 9 UFC fights have ended in a knockout, compared to the 100% KO record of prates in the UFC.
However, the Irishman does not want to play in the hands of the Brazilian by going for a knockout. His best chance to win seems to go the distance, something that prates has not been familiar with so far.
