After almost a decade of fighting in the UFC Flyweight Division, Matt Schnell's time is about to complete in the Octagon.
A participant in 'The Ultimate Fighter 24', the MMA veteran will take on his pension fight this Saturday in UFC Kansas City when he meets the previously retired Jimmy Flick. The Fight Night Card contains Ian Machado Garry vs. Carlos Prates in the main event.
Schnell initially put down the gloves after a loss of submission to Cody Durden last September, but 'danger' could not stop his career on that version and asked the UFC for a final fight.
After he has fought the best in the world for years, including the current champion Alexandre Pantoja and #1 Competier Brandon Royval, UFC Schnell gave the opportunity to conclude what a memorable career has been.
The biggest highlight of Schnell came in his most recent victory -a 'Fight of the Night' and Round of the Year -Competer who hit the Chinese knock -out artist Sumudaerji in July 2022.

Schnell came in his fight on UFC Long Island as a +225 underdog. His opponent Sumudaerji had completed 13 from his 16 wins by Knockout. During their fight, Schnell was A +3000 Underdog at one point to win on the live gambling lines.
Schnell's Kin has failed him in other fights against Rob Font and Steve Erceg, but his ability to recover stopped enormously in the night.
After winning the first round, Schnell stumbled when Sumudaerji stepped in with an explosive left hand, Sumudaerji was stunned with a right hand of the break.
Schnell visibly fluctuated twice, ran forward like a madman, loosened by the attack of Sumudaerji. Schnell ate another brutal left hand who caught his attention. Schnell continued to press, regardless of what was thrown on his way.

The tide would eventually turn for Schnell with two more minutes to go in the round. After having thrown a right hand over the top, Schnell assured a much -needed Takedown while the commentators became wild.
Schnell came on the entire mountain and punished Sumudaerji with soil and pound, and had massive elbows and punches landed. Schnell chased the finish and bleed Sumudaerji before he finally rolled.
From his back, Schnell landed more elbows before trying his characteristic triangular entry. Within a few seconds, Schnell stitched his opponent unconscious in a puddle of blood.
“That is perhaps one of the biggest comebacks we have ever seen,” said commentator Paul Felder after the entry.
When he heard the crowd of the crowd, Matt Schnell took a $ 50,000 bonus home for fighting the night at UFC Long Island in a time when the flying weight will never forget.
