Islam Makhachev resent his time until the Welterweight title fight took place on 10 May in Montreal.
The lightweight champion has made it clear that he wants to move a division to compete for a second title, but that was not a possibility for UFC 315.
With Belal Muhammad, the belt loses Jack della Maddalena, both divisions are now set for some important changes in the near future.
The conversation is already used to Della Maddalena opposite Makhachev, because the new champion wants to get revenge for his teammate, Alexander Volkanovski.
As soon as the main event came to an end, the Russian gave his reaction to the result on social media, where Makhakevet was criticized for its posts.

Daniel Cormier says that Joaquin Buckley is only trying to make noise when he publicly criticizes Islam Makhachev
Daniel Cormier does not believe that the lightweight champion of the UFC deserves criticism for the way he responded to the UFC 315 main event.
It was clear that Islam Makhachev would not challenge the Welterweight title until Belal Muhammad lost the belt because of the time they train together in the past.
With that in mind, Jack della Maddalena is that the new champion is clearly the best result for the Russian in terms of his career goals.
Although Makhachev placed encouraging words for Mohammed after he fell in his first deficiency, Joaquin Buckley accused him of rooting against his friend.

Cormier, who knows the lightweight champion, has trained well together with each other on aka, thinks it is not fair to accuse him of rooting for the ruin of Mohammed.
Buckley spoke about this issue on social media, but 'DC' rejected this as nothing more than another way for 'New Mansa' to try to get an opponent back.
“I don't think Makhachev prayed for Belal to lose. I know that the man and I don't think that's in him to see one of his friends losing himself to get a chance. But what Buckley does, from Ian's trolls [Machado] Garry is now trying to focus on Islam Makhachev, it is one of the few ways in which he will really find his way in those big fights that he wants so desperate. “

Islam Makhachev has stated that when he goes to the Weltergeverdivisie, he does not let go of the lightweight belt to make it happen.
Daniel Cormier responded to the Russian plan to try to hold two belts at the same time by referring to Amanda Nunes.
When 'The Lioness' was a two -road champion, she was able to hold and defend both belts at the same time, but there was only 10 pounds between the divisions and there was a lack of contenders in the latter weight.
Cormier believes that Makhachev will be much more difficult to try to go between lightweight and welterweight.
“That is difficult. That is difficult. Especially if you have received that belt with the next weight class, why do I have to reduce the weight when I am the champion here? It is very difficult.”
