UFC legend Georges St-Pierre critiques NHL star who threw ‘superman punch’ during game

Georges St-Pierre was not impressed by the 'Superman Punch' technique of an NHL player during a viral fight.

UFC Hall of Famer Georges St-Pierre threw his considerable part of Superman Bunches during his illustrious career in the cage. But never during a professional hockey game, because he saw an NHL player throwing during the Utah Hockey Club on Monday vs. Toronto Maple Leafs Matchup.

Georges St-Pierre reacts to Superman Punch Threwed during NHL fight

After Utah was early on 0-3, a fight broke out between Simon Benoit (Toronto) and Michael Kesselring (Utah) who caused the excitement of the crowd. Benoit started the fight by throwing a superman punch before Kesselring Benoit eventually dragged on the ice.

Utah fights further, literally and figuratively, of a 0-3 deficit to bind the game on 3-3 in the second period. But Toronto got the last smile by scoring the winning point in a shootout to win 4-3.

After the viral fight spread over social media, it was not long before St-Pierre criticized the Superman Punch technique of Benoit that landed almost Flush.

Georges St-Pierre ran away from the return of combat sports in 2023 due to an injury

ST-Pierre was planned to return to Fighting via an entry grip competition with former UFC-Vijand Nick Diaz in December 2023 on a UFC Fight Pass Invitational. But St-Pierre withdrew because of injury, and from this letter it is still to be seen whether ST-Pierre will return to the combat sports in 2025.
