UFC legend Jose Aldo clarifies boxing future after announcing MMA retirement at UFC 315

UFC Hall of Famer Jose Aldo has tackled speculation. He could return to fighting in the ring after UFC 315.

Jose Aldo's last UFC Hooray did not disappoint against Aiemann Zahabi on UFC 315. In a fight that could have demonstrably went to his advantage on the scorecards of the jury, Aldo lost to Zahabi in an immediate classical featherweight matchup through a unanimous decision.

After he fell to Zahabi, Aldo announced his retirement for the second time, after his return of a multi -year break to UFC 301. Aldo entered the UFC Hall of Fame in 2023 after his first retirement after a loss of Merab Dvalishvili on UFC 278.

While Aldo hung up the gloves to his MMA career, he did not immediately take out to return to fighting in the boxing ring if the chance occurs.

Jose Aldo talks about the future after running the page on MMA career

Between UFC -Stints Aldo fought twice in the Ring, fights for a majority of trekking against former UFC enemy Jeremy Stephens and the beating of Esteban Gabriel Espindola by unanimous decision. His short success in the Ring opened potential possibilities to appear on Jake Paul-Headlined cards.

But Aldo is ready to convert the page on his fighting career as a whole and is not interested in continuing to grow in boxing fast.

During a recent appearance on the Ariel Helwani show, Aldo was asked about his plans for the future and whether or not he would consider transferring the transition to the ring.

“I made the decision immediately and there, win or loss, independent of the result, I was sure what was going to happen,” said Aldo.

“As you know, I stopped for a short period for boxing and then there was something in my heart that touched me to go back to the UFC. I didn't do it for the money. I did it to continue my story and my history, because if it was for the money, I would have gone to another organization and got more money for it.

“Win or loss, the decision has been made … I no longer fight. I have other things going on for me.”

As far as the next one is for the UFC Hall of Famer, Aldo has various successful companies outside the cage and anticipates a full -time transition to his portfolio. But Aldo has changed his mind earlier after retirement, and Vecht fans should not be surprised if he reverses the course in the future.

Conor McGregor shared immediate response to the pension of the former rival Jose Aldo

One of those who paid tribute to Aldo after his retirement was Conor McGregor, who shared one of the most heated rivalry in UFC history with the former Federweight Champion. McGregor called Aldo the 'Vederweight Goat' in stark contrast to their former heated relationship during their fighting career.

Former UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya also gave Aldo his flowers after UFC 315 and called the Brazilian a 'legend' in combat sports. Adesanya will work on his own comeback commack later this year after three consecutive losses in the cage.

Aldo withdraws from MMA with a professional record of 32-10, including victories against people like Frankie Edgar, Chad Mendes and Kenny Florian.
