UFC Mexico City features fighters 22-years apart as stars pose for generational photograph

UFC Mexico City On Saturday, hunters will compete next to each other at the opposite ends of their UFC career.

Raul Rosas JR returns to action for the first time since UFC 306 last September and takes on Saturday against Vince Morales in UFC Mexico City and Vecht for his home crowd.

With the record of Jon Jones as the youngest UFC champion ever in the sights of Rosas JR, he is at the distance of another UFC record and with a victory on Saturday he will break it.

Also on the map is UFC veteran Vinc Pichel, who takes on Rafa Garcia in a lightweight fight on the Prelims, with 'gifted' Garcia who wants to bounce back from a loss against Grant Dawson.

22-year-old divorced Rosas JR and Pichel as the youngest and oldest hunters on the Roster

'El Nino Problema' signed at the UFC just 17 years old after winning a contract with a victory over the Contender Series of Dana White.

Since then, the Mexican star has shown a glimpse of his championship potential and has even become an extremely popular hunter among the fans after coding his own slogan, 'Chiwiwis' who conquered the UFC Stormenderhand.

Although he is five fights in his UFC official period, the 20-year-old is still the youngest hunter in the entire schedule.

On the other side of the spectrum is Pichel, who is 11 fights in his UFC official period, which signed in 2012. The 42-year-old is the oldest hunter who is currently on the UFC schedule.

And with that the two generations of MMA posed together for a photo, both competing side by side at the UFC Mexico City event.

Raul Rosas JR could end 2025 in the UFC Bantamweight Rankings

Rosas Jr's only UFC loss came against Christian Rodriguez, who has a talent for taking undefeated records from hunters.

Since then, however, he has achieved three impressive victories. And with that the 20-year-old is hopeful that with a victory over Morales on Saturday he can earn a shot against a ranked Bantamweight candidate.

The 135 pound division has always been considered one of the strongest in sport, with the top 15 being littered with potential future champions.

'El Nino Problema' would notice that he ended 2025 with a song next to his name, but it all starts with his fight against Morales on Saturday evening.
