A long -awaited main event resulted in a resorting competition after one of the most disappointing stop settlements in the UFC history.
The UFC will return to Mexico City this weekend for a Fight Night event in Arena CDMX on March 29.
In the main event, Brandon Moreno will try to break his Winless Run in Mexico when the former flight weight champion is opposite Steve Erceg.
In 2019, the honor went to the Headliner of the show to Yair Rodriguez who will return next month in a heated collision with Patricio Pitbull.
Rodriguez's first and only main event in the spotlight in Mexico should have been a huge moment of celebration, but it became one of the most controversial events in recent history.

Fans in Mexico City were indignant about the interruption of Yair Rodriguez vs Jeremy Stephens
After his return to the UFC the previous year, where he eliminated 'the Korean zombie' in a stunning way, Yair Rodriguez looked the ranking in a matchup with Jeremy Stephens.
'Lil Heathen' came from back-to-back to Jose Aldo and Zabit Magomedsharipov at that time, but just the clash of styles made this a must-watch-meeting.
In the end, neither the #7 or the #8-ranged competition in the featherweight division was allowed to show everything they had worked on.
The fight did not even end 15 seconds in the duration of the five round after an eye chef to Stephens.
Referee Herb Dean chose to wait the entire five -minute period to give Stephens as much time as possible to recover, but the American did not get closer to being able to open his eye.
The crowd was increasingly agitated with every minute and when Dean waved the battle, they let their feelings known.
The fans in Mexico City immediately started throwing bottles and other objects in the Octagon with commentator Brendan Fitzgerald who chose to seek shelter.
While Stephens was quickly hurried back with the safety that does not touch him by anything, the situation was not helped by Rodriguez who hypnotized the crowd and jumped on the cage.
The Mexican hunter was clearly very frustrated by the doctor and when Michael Bisping touched his arm to try to start the interview after the fight, the emotions of Rodriguez became better when he pulled out verbally in the Hall of Famer.
Rodriguez apologized at Bisping after he had been struck by his team before he stated that he would like to put together a rematch and the question for this only grew after several confrontations between the two opponents.
They were again planned for the following month, where Rodriguez came to the top in a fight of the night.
Yair Rodriguez had to work to rebuild his public perception
The reaction to the interruption of the main event was not only a bad look for the fans in Mexico City, it left a sour taste with regard to the actions and behavior of Yair Rodriguez.
He was not already on the best conditions with the UFC that was previously cut out of the grid due to falling fights.
Because he brought the feud with Jeremy Stephens into their rematch, Rodriguez seemed to turn a corner in his career and since then he has been in the good books of both the UFC and the fans.
Although no one wants to see such a fight, the response of the fans and Rodriguez made the September 21 Fight Night event for the wrong reasons in a talk point.
