UFC Mexico City preview: Start time, full fight card, how to watch, live stream as Brandon Moreno faces Steve Erceg

Number two ranked flying weight Brandon Moreno is planned for a return home on March 29, because the UFC takes Fight Night to Mexico City.

Moreno became the first Mexican champion UFC history in 2021 thanks to an entry victory over Diveson Figueiredo at UFC 263, and later became a double flight weight champion thanks to a different victory of long-term rival Figueirdo at UFC 283.

After having lost the flight weight championship to Alexandre Pantoja via a split decision on UFC 290, Moreno is now on the climb of the ranking and hopes to earn a shot at the title. This weekend he stands in the way that another hunter strives to strive for a shot at the flightweight title in Steve Erceg. The Aussie would like to find his best form in Mexico City again, after he has lost his last two fights on UFC 301 and 305, the first is a decision that is a decision for champion Pantoja.

In the US, both the Prelims and the main map of the event will be available to view on ESPN2 from 16:00. Fans can also stream the event via ESPN+ on their mobile devisions.

In the United Kingdom, fans from 20:00 can view the prelims via UFC Fight Pass before they switch to TNT sports for the coverage of the main map from 11 p.m.

Five Mexican hunters will compete elsewhere on the main map with Moreno to headline, Manuel Torres who encounters Drew Dober in what promises to be a well -disputed battle, Rosas Jr expected to defeat Vince Morales to continue his recent form, David Martinez with Saimon to Saimon Borjas for Facywin Borjas in Flyweight.

Moreno has fought at three previous UFC events in Mexico, but has far from glowing record in his home country. The former lightweight champion Moreno lost last year in Mexico City to Brandon Royval, pulled Askarov in 2019 and lost Sergio Pettis in 2017.
