Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is affiliated with Star as UFC star Mark Kerr in a new film.
The role is one of the most ambitious of the WWE legend to date. He plays Mark Kerr in what the rock called a passion project and was announced after he was seen after Jorge Masvidal Nate Diaz defeated UFC 244.
This helped to increase his passion for the UFC and the rock agreed to play in Kerr in the coming film, The Smashing Machine.
Kerr was a legend in the early days of MMA and confirmed his legacy as a key figure in the history of the promotion. De Rots has undergone intense training to get in shape for the role and the story to do justice.

UFC fans will gladly see how Kerr is depicted by the rock in the film and they don't have to wait long to find out.
The Rock's new film 'The Smashing Machine' will release later this year
UFC fans do not have to wait long to see the Smashing Machine, because A24 has unveiled the release date for the film.
Deadline reported that the Smashing Machine received a release date of October 3, 2025.
This was expected rather than most people, but the delay of the upcoming biopic by Michael Jackson meant that A24 jumped the chance to release during that window.
That film is split into a two -part, so that the release date is postponed and the door is opened for the Smashing Machine to release in October.
The film sees Emily Blunt joining the Cast next to the rock as Kerr, while Boxer Oleksandr Cameeën also in the Smashing Machine Usyk. Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Bas Rutten, who participated in the era of Kerr, also takes place in the film.
Mark Kerr thinks the rock will be great with the movie
The man himself supports the project and thinks the Smashing Machine will be a success.
Speaking with the Hannibal TV, Kerr spoke about his conversations with The Rock before making the film, and admitted how much a great guy he was before production.
“I know everyone says this, but he is probably one of the most graceful, coolest guys.
“He said to me:” Hey, Mark, I just want you to know that this is an honor for me to do this – to take this and put everything I have behind it to make it the best possible production and film that I can. “
“It's just something I really believe I can do great. Everyone, I think, will be happy with the end product.”
The Smashing -Machine is directed by Benny Safdie, whose work in the film Uncut Gems Kerr -fans has, hopefully for a good representation of the UFC legend.
