UFC Nashville star earned a fan over $25,000 after recording incredibly rare victory in back-to-back UFC fights

The return of the UFC on July 12 can contain a number of heavy batters, but there is one hunter who has a remarkably recent track record when it comes to submissions.

Of the 12 fights that take place in UFC Nashville, three are located in the heavyweight division, including the main event.

The record holder of the promotion for Knockouts will add another to his list when Derrick Lewis records Tallison Teixeira on July 12.

Former NFL player Austen Lane welcomes Vitor Petrino in the division, while both men want to recover from defeats in their last outings.

In addition to those two matchups, the first heavyweight collision of the evening sees a Brazilian competitor trying to continue his winning series after achieving two remarkable victories in the Octagon.

Fan won $ 25,500 after betting on Valter Walker to win via heel hook at +5000 opportunities

Valter Walker debuted in the UFC in April 2024, where he suffered a decision loss for Lukasz Brzeski in the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

While his brother, Johnny Walker, is perhaps known for his unpredictable striking skills, Valter has recently proven to be a threat of submission.

His first victory in the Octagon came to UFC 305 last August, where he defeated Junior Tafa through the heel hook in the opening round.

Walker returned earlier this year with a second trip to the top where a fan decided to take a point that he could replicate this rare entry, especially for the heavyweight division.

Matty Betss on X got +5000 chances on the Brazilian submission of Donale Mayes on 15 February only for the fight to end up again in a hook of the first round.

The happy fan even registered his reaction to Walker who took the entry, leaving fans on social media lagging back after he won a $ 25,500 discount of a $ 500 bet.

One hunter missed the weight for UFC Nashville

23 of the 24 hunters who were matched for UFC Nashville hit the stamp on the Friday roads on 11 July, including Valter Walker and his opponent, Kennedy Nzechukwu.

Derrick Lewis even came lighter than usual after he spoke about the changes he made for Fight Night, so he could get in a better physical form.

One weightmiss was Chidi Njokuani, which was 0.5 pounds above the limit of the welter weight of 171 pounds for his fight with Jake Matthews.

Njokuani also missed the weight for his last fight against eleven Zaleski dos Santos, but with an hour to reduce the extra weight, it seems likely that he will avoid a fine.

At the time of writing, Njokuani did not try his second weighting.
